Silk
- Dry cleaning recommended
- Alternatively, hand-wash in cold water with a neutral silk detergent
- Do not wring. Dry flat away from heat sources and direct light
- Iron at low temperature on the reverse side, ideally with a steamer
Cashmere
- Hand-wash in lukewarm water (max 30°C) with a cashmere-specific detergent
- Do not twist. Press gently to remove excess water
- Dry flat on a towel
- Store folded (never hung) in a dry place, with natural moth sachets
Wool
- Hand-wash in cold water with a gentle detergent
- Dry flat away from heat sources
- Steam iron at medium temperature
Linen
- Machine wash 30°C delicate cycle with neutral detergent
- Alternatively hand wash in cold water
- Dry flat or hang in shade without wringing
- Iron hot while damp to bring out the fluid hand
Cotton
- Machine wash 30-40°C with neutral detergent for natural fibers
- Do not use bleach or harsh fabric softeners
- Dry flat or hang; avoid high-heat tumble dry
- Iron medium-high, on the reverse side for prints
General tips
Store your SILKinCOM accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. For folded scarves and foulards, periodically alternate the folds to avoid permanent marks.
